Twitter is testing a new threaded conversation layout on iOS and the web

Twitter has commenced screening a new threaded dialogue format that is intended to make it a lot more clear who’s speaking to whom. Dependent on the GIF posted by the Twitter Guidance account, the new format will make use of traces and indentations to clearly indicate that a reply is intended for a certain tweet. As TechCrunch notes, it appears to be significantly valuable for lengthier threads wherever participants go again-and-forth and wherever individuals publish responses to numerous independent tweets.

The system has been experimenting with this format about the earlier calendar year on its prototype application twttr, TC states, and application researcher Jane Manchun Wong posted a demo on her account in early April. Wong’s demo demonstrates that clicking on a tweet in the threaded format expands it and provides you an straightforward way to publish a response to it.
