New Regional Senior Justice Appointed to the Ontario Court docket of Justice
TORONTO — Lawyer Standard Doug Downey has introduced the appointment of a new Regional Senior Justice to the Ontario Court docket of Justice, East Region, powerful September 25, 2020.
Justice W. Vincent Clifford will be changing Regional Senior Justice Jean Legault.
Justice Clifford was called to the bar in 1991 and specialized in felony legislation until eventually he was appointed to the Ontario Court docket of Justice in 2017. Subsequent his appointment, the Affiliation of Ontario Judges appointed him co-chair of the East Regional Schooling Committee.
Justice Clifford was earlier a term professor at the College of Ottawa Faculty of Common Legislation and served as courthouse administrator of the College of Ottawa’s felony legislation courthouse mentorship system.
