COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV/Gray Information) – A mom in Colorado is sharing her story immediately after shedding her son to a rattlesnake bite.
Lindsey Currat mentioned her 6-12 months-outdated baby, Simon Emmanuel, was bitten in the Bluestem Prairie Open House location in Stability-Widefield on July 5. He then handed absent a week later on, as claimed by KKTV.
“Our support isn’t just from Stability-Widefield,” Currat said. “We have been having prayers from all above the country and all-around the globe. We have persons in Europe and Canada that I know are praying for us and next our tale.”
Currat said Simon was using bikes with his father on a path when the incident occurred. Soon after Simon was bitten, he was taken to a nearby healthcare facility and resuscitated on his way there.
Even so, the 6-calendar year-old wanted more care, so he was taken to the Children’s Hospital in Colorado Springs and transferred to Aurora.
Simon’s mother said medical doctors informed her they did everything they could to help you save his lifestyle, but in the end the family members produced the challenging choice to say goodbye to their son.
Currat mentioned the family is accepting donations to assistance with the professional medical costs in this article.
Earlier this week, the Colorado Parks and Wildlife shared facts on what to do and not to do when it arrives to rattlesnake bites.
