The team arranged for Anna and Victoria to stay with Gipkhin, who has fostered a dozen Ukrainian family members since coming to St. Louis in 1989.
“They have nowhere to go again to since their property has been bombed,” Chernyak advised Information 4. “There are hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of people like Anna and Victoria sitting down in spots like Poland and Moldova and Romania and Bulgaria–Germany–that definitely need to find a lasting house, they are displaced. I personally arrived listed here as a refugee as a little one from the previous Soviet Union. It’s a very difficult problem to be in, particularly, as a child.”
Victoria will get surgical procedures and treatment at St. Louis Children’s Medical center. Gipkhin advised News 4 appointments are currently scheduled for Victoria.
The team will now operate to get Victoria’s father and other relatives users to the U.S.
