New Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught us to see ourselves as dead to sin, and righteous in Christ. We do not live based on transient feeling, but on the truth of God’s word!

For women who want a child for more than two years but have not yet seen the manifestation, this will be your year to receive a miracle!
Psalm 91:16 – The first reason that God blesses us with long life is to see Jesus.
Just like how God kept Simeon alive to see Jesus.
“I will satisfy him with long life, and show him my salvation.”” (Psalms 91:16 WEB)
For believers, we are not looking for the grave. We are looking towards the sky for our Lord’s return. We are not waiting for the undertaker, but the upper-taker!
The world is after your heart. Advertisers and marketers just want to appeal directly to your heart.
The Scriptures will always outlast facts because it is the truth.
Believers no longer have a sinful nature. We still get tempted to sin because of the flesh. The flesh is the carryover—the residue of the sinful nature. Our spirits are new creations in Christ.
Unbelief is the mother of all sins. Before other sins happen, there is first unbelief.
When we receive a new body at the Rapture, we will have no more temptation to sin. We will never become old, sick, weak, or dead.
Your body is not dirty. Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit.
The value of something depends on how much a person is willing to pay for it. When you were dead in your sins and hopeless, God paid with the death of His Son so that you could be saved. That is how valuable you are to Him.
There is a false premise being taught about holiness. You do not do holy things to become holy. You have already become holy so you can do holy things.
The ‘try-harder Christianity’ is not according to the true Gospel. In Christ, we are already created in true holiness and righteousness.
Death and judgment are behind us. Grace and glory are ahead of us. We are on the other side of the grave.
When a believer dies, it is just “falling asleep”.
Your private time spent with the Lord is your “root life”. Be rooted in Christ. Be led by the Lord on what to share about your life in public. Do not unnecessarily give the enemy ammunition to hit you with.
There are people who like sermons that tell them what to do. They think James is practical but Paul is not.
We love others because God first loved us. We need to know the cause that enables us to do what is good and right.
The devil especially attacks women (like the way he tempted Eve first) because they have a tendency to take things into their own hands to help the people they love. This is especially true if their husbands are not stepping up to do what needs to be done. The women’s enthusiasm to help opens them up to more failures caused by the devil.
Jesus is the seventh man to the woman of Samaria whom He met by the well. He is the perfect man who delivered her.
Most Jews bypass Samaria when they travel. However Jesus needed to go through Samaria because He needed to minister to that woman. It was not a must of geography, but of love.

We are not our feelings
Romans 6:9-12 – Death is not part of God’s original plan. He hates Death and considers it an enemy.
Jesus died to sin once and for all, not gradually.
Likewise, we believers have also died to sin once and for all. We do not die daily to sin.
When you feel the temptation, reckon it as a lie. This is not who you are. You are a new creation in Christ.
“knowing that Christ, being raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no more has dominion over him! For the death that he died, he died to sin one time; but the life that he lives, he lives to God. Thus consider yourselves also to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Therefore don’t let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.” (Romans 6:9-12 WEB)
Biblical meekness is strength/power under control. You can hit back at an attacker but you choose not to—this makes you the greater one.
David spoke boldly to Goliath, and this boldness was predicated by faith.
We dress our best when we respect a person or honor an occasion. Pastor Prince’s opinion is that when we gather for church, we ought to dress well to honor the occasion of coming to God’s house.
The more we let go and rest, the more who we are in Christ will come forth.
We do not do in order to become what we are not. We are already the righteousness of God in Christ.
Feelings come and go. They are just fleeting things like passing, changing scenery. Feelings are not who we are.
When you get off a cruise ship, you still feel like the ground is bobbing like a ship on the sea. However, you have to reckon that you are standing on solid ground—the ground is real!
Ephesians 4:22-24 – The devil wants to activate your imagination to re-present the fears and evil imaginations that you see in your heart.
“that you put away, as concerning your former way of life, the old man, that grows corrupt after the lusts of deceit; and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new man, who in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of truth.” (Ephesians 4:22-24 WEB)
What you give attention to, you give power to. Do not give people who criticize you a leg up.
When Jesus said turn the other cheek, He meant for us to be the actor, not the reactor. Do not respond to the challenge of others.
We are holy. We can choose to line up our actions to who we really are.
Genesis 6:5 – The devil wants to bombard your imagination with unclean, unholy, wicked images every day. God wants us to think about what is pure, good, and holy.
Watch what you see. God also speaks to you by showing you pictures in your heart.
Jesus said He only did what He saw His Father doing.
“Yahweh saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of man’s heart was continually only evil.” (Genesis 6:5 WEB)
All believers are kings and priests to God. The anointing of a king is that whatever he speaks happens. The devil wants us to use the power of our words against ourselves. People may say all kinds of things against you, but do not speak against yourself.
1 Samuel 9:9 – God showed His prophets pictures in their hearts and that is why they were called “seers”.
“(In earlier times in Israel, when a man went to inquire of God, he said, “Come, and let us go to the seer”; for he who is now called a prophet was before called a seer.)” (1 Samuel 9:9 WEB)
No one can make you angry or hurt. People can badmouth you but if you do not know it, it does not hurt you. Therefore, it is only you who allow yourself to be hurt.
Pastor Prince ministered in words of knowledge:
Someone with problem in the intestines is healed.
Someone who is contemplating suicide is being encouraged by God that He will never leave nor forsake him.
Someone with liver trouble is healed.
