The Pembrokeshire Herald and Typical Advertiser of 28th April 1869 documented that a local younger man had been taken in by a youth sporting a white sheet pretending to be a ghost. One more local gentleman claimed to have witnessed the satan.

Sarah Jacobs, the so called Welsh fasting girl, died at the age of 12. To her supporters she was a wonder youngster who had eaten very little for over two a long time, sustained on spiritual religion by yourself. But, when put underneath 24 hour view, she was useless within just a couple weeks. Her mom and dad later served time in Swansea prison for her manslaughter.
