The Newton County Sheriff’s Business office reported 38-calendar year-outdated Darian Javaris Bennett shot and killed his baby’s mom right before having their daughter, Jaquari Bennett, Saturday night time in Covington. 

Sgt. Jack Redlinger states they been given a 911 simply call close to 11:14 p.m. Saturday to a dwelling on Chandler Area Travel in Covington. 

When they arrived, they located the mom, determined as 38-12 months-outdated Keshawn Washington, shot dead and the grandmother with numerous gunshot wounds. The grandmother was transported to Atlanta Clinical Middle and is in significant affliction. 

The grandmother was equipped to tell deputies that newborn Jaquari was taken by Darian Bennett immediately after he shot them.

The mother’s two older children, ages 11 and 12, were at the household when the first taking pictures transpired. They are not related to Darian Bennett.

Legislation enforcement said Darian Bennett killed himself Sunday soon after calling 911 to allow officers know he was around a church in Riverdale and that he was heading to eliminate his daughter, authorities said.

Riverdale Law enforcement responded to Sunday’s incident and mentioned they listened to the pictures as they arrived. There was heavy police presence at the spot off Adams Travel near Riverdale Street in Clayton County.
