6 March 2022 – What To Do When The Glory Of Christ Is Attacked – Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes – New Creation Church Sermon Notes

Exodus 25:40 – God emphasized how Moses must ensure to make the Tabernacle on earth as it is in Heaven.

“See that you make them after their pattern, which has been shown to you on the mountain.” (Exodus‬ ‭25:40‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Revelation 5:6 – With God there is no time—the cross of Jesus Christ is fresh. When you partake of the Lord’s Supper, see Jesus as freely slain, as if He died for you just now and not more than two thousand years ago.

“I saw in the middle of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the middle of the elders, a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, having seven horns, and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, sent out into all the earth.” (Revelation‬ ‭5:6‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Psalm 92:12-13 – God wants us to be planted in a local church. When we are planted in the house of the Lord, we flourish outside too in the courts.

“The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree. He will grow like a cedar in Lebanon. They are planted in Yahweh’s house. They will flourish in our God’s courts.” (Psalms‬ ‭92:12-13‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

2 Corinthians 8:23 – The local churches are the glory of Christ.

“If anyone inquires about Titus, he is my partner and fellow worker concerning you. Or if our brethren are inquired about, they are messengers of the churches, the glory of Christ.” (II Corinthians‬ ‭8:23‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Under the Law, the high priest of Israel wore a breastplate which twelve gems on it. It represents us being kept in Jesus’ heart. The urim and thummim are hidden inside the breastplate—revelation and light comes when you are conscious of the Lord’s love for you.
God wants us to think of ourselves in local churches—unity with diversity.
Each gem has a different radiance and color—every local church has a different strength that others do not have. We need each other.

The devil wants to mar the glory of Christ (the local church). He raised all sorts of controversies and strife against it.

Matthew 24:6 – Pastor Prince shared prophetically in one of the first few services this year that there will be wars and rumors of wars, but ensure that we are not troubled.
Jesus does not want us to be troubled. The current war situation is just a birth pang—this is not the Tribulation.
There will be one Antichrist in the future during the Tribulation, but ever since the apostle John’s time there were already many people with the spirit of the Antichrist, foreshadowing what is to come.

“You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you aren’t troubled, for all this must happen, but the end is not yet.” (Matthew‬ ‭24:6‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Matthew 24:3-8 – False teachings are a sign of the end times.
Wars and strife are another sign of the end times. Strife is a lower level than war.
Famine is a widespread event. The lower level is experiencing lack on a daily basis.
Pestilences, earthquakes, disease, and death is the last on the list.

“As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? What is the sign of your coming, and of the end of the age?” Jesus answered them, “Be careful that no one leads you astray. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will lead many astray. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you aren’t troubled, for all this must happen, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines, plagues, and earthquakes in various places. But all these things are the beginning of birth pains.” (Matthew‬ ‭24:3-8‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Revelation 6:1-2 – The signs of the end times that Jesus listed in Matthew 24 are parallels to the four horsemen of the Apocalypse.
The rider on the white horse has a bow but no arrows. He only has the outward appearance but no real power. He represents a false Christ.
The word crown in some languages is “corona”.

“I saw that the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying, as with a voice of thunder, “Come and see!” And behold, a white horse, and he who sat on it had a bow. A crown was given to him, and he came out conquering, and to conquer.” (Revelation‬ ‭6:1-2‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Romans 10:17 – Instead of hearing false teachings and fear-mongering news, we must listen to the word of Christ that imparts faith.

“So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans‬ ‭10:17‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Revelation 6:3-4 – The riders on the horses are evil spirits. They are principalities that cause evil things to happen.

“When he opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, “Come!” Another came out, a red horse. To him who sat on it was given power to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another. There was given to him a great sword.” (Revelation‬ ‭6:3-4‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Revelation 6:5-6 – The rider on the black horse brings famine and lack.

“When he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying, “Come and see!” And behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a balance in his hand. I heard a voice in the middle of the four living creatures saying, “A choenix of wheat for a denarius, and three choenix of barley for a denarius! Don’t damage the oil and the wine!”” (Revelation‬ ‭6:5-6‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Revelation 6:7-8 – The horse is not just pale, but it is “chloros” (greenish)—the color of a putrefying corpse (death).

“When he opened the fourth seal, I heard the fourth living creature saying, “Come and see!” And behold, a pale horse, and he who sat on it, his name was Death. Hades followed with him. Authority over one fourth of the earth, to kill with the sword, with famine, with death, and by the wild animals of the earth was given to him.” (Revelation‬ ‭6:7-8‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Revelation 4:6-7 – The four faces of the four living creatures are your solutions to the four horsemen of the Apocalypse.
The four faces correspond to the four gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John).
The Gospel of Matthew is about the King. The king of the beasts is the lion.
In Matthew, there is a lot of mentions of “the kingdom of Heaven”.
Matthew (King) and Luke (Man) talks about the genealogy of Jesus Christ.
The Gospel of Luke shows Jesus as Man. In it, there is a lot of mention of “The Son of Man”.
However, Mark (Servant) does not have the genealogy. Instead it has a lot of words indicating tireless and prompt working and serving such as “at once”, “immediately”.
The Gospel of John has no genealogy because it portrays Jesus as the eternal God who has no beginning or end.
Matthew (Lion), Mark (Ox) , Luke (Man), John (Eagle).

“Before the throne was something like a sea of glass, similar to crystal. In the middle of the throne, and around the throne were four living creatures full of eyes before and behind. The first creature was like a lion, and the second creature like a calf, and the third creature had a face like a man, and the fourth was like a flying eagle.” (Revelation‬ ‭4:6-7‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Ezekiel 1:10 – The cherubim have the four faces of Jesus. They reflect the glory of their master.

“As for the likeness of their faces, they had the face of a man; and the four of them had the face of a lion on the right side; and the four of them had the face of an ox on the left side; the four of them also had the face of an eagle.” (Ezekiel‬ ‭1:10‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Psalm 29:9 – Every part of the tabernacle of Moses cries glory. Every part represents something about God.

“Yahweh’s voice makes the deer calve, and strips the forests bare. In his temple everything says, “Glory!”” (Psalms‬ ‭29:9‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Numbers 2:2 – Every side: North (Dan – Eagle), South (Reuben – Man), East (Judah – Lion), West (Ephraim – Ox) has a main standard (war banner) of the leading tribe.
The camps are all facing inward, towards the Tabernacle.
The Lord is the one who takes care of your back—He is your rearguard.

““The children of Israel shall encamp every man by his own standard, with the banners of their fathers’ houses: at a distance from the Tent of Meeting shall they encamp around it.”” (Numbers‬ ‭2:2‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Hebrews 12:2 – When you look unto Jesus, He will take care of all your needs. Do not look around and be distracted, thinking only in the natural.

“looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” (Hebrews‬ ‭12:2‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Isaiah 59:19 – When the enemy comes against you, the Holy Spirit will war against him.

“So shall they fear The name of the Lord from the west, And His glory from the rising of the sun; When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.” (Isaiah‬ ‭59:19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

2 Corinthians 3:18 – We are transformed from glory to glory as we behold Jesus.

“But we all, with unveiled face seeing the glory of the Lord as in a mirror, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord, the Spirit.” (2 Corinthians‬ ‭3:18‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Zechariah 6:1-6 – The devil copies God’s pattern and perverts it.
The famine horses are going north, the false teachings horses are going east, the death horses are going south, and the war horses are going west.
The devil wants to attack the glory of Christ which is the local churches, represented by the Tabernacle.
When God talks about creation, there is only one chapter in the Scripture, whereas when God talks about the Tabernacle (which speaks of Jesus), He uses fifteen chapters.
Receive the Gospel which is food that strengthens you.

“Again I lifted up my eyes, and saw, and behold, four chariots came out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass. In the first chariot were red horses; in the second chariot black horses; in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot dappled horses, all of them powerful. Then I asked the angel who talked with me, “What are these, my Lord?” The angel answered me, “These are the four winds of the sky, which go out from standing before the Lord of all the earth. The one with the black horses goes out toward the north country; and the white went out after them; and the dappled went out toward the south country.”” (Zechariah‬ ‭6:1-6‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Luke 22:31-32 – Jesus prophesied Peter’s victory even before he went through the trial.

“The Lord said, “Simon, Simon, behold, Satan asked to have you, that he might sift you as wheat, but I prayed for you, that your faith wouldn’t fail. You, when once you have turned again, establish your brothers.”” (Luke‬ ‭22:31-32‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

James 1:15 – Do not meddle with sin because it has consequences—it brings forth death.

“Then the lust, when it has conceived, bears sin; and the sin, when it is full grown, produces death.” (James‬ ‭1:15‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Romans 5:17 – We reign in life through receiving an abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness.

“For if by the trespass of the one, death reigned through the one; so much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ.” (Romans‬ ‭5:17‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Job 9:33 – Job wished to have a mediator, but today we have Jesus as our mediator.

“Nor is there any mediator between us, Who may lay his hand on us both.” (Job‬ ‭9:33‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Galatians 3:5 – Hearing of faith causes miracles to happen in your life.

“He therefore who supplies the Spirit to you, and does miracles among you, does he do it by the works of the law, or by hearing of faith?” (Galatians‬ ‭3:5‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Revelation 3:7 – Jesus can open a door for you that no one can shut, and close evil doors for you that no one can open.

““To the angel of the assembly in Philadelphia write: “He who is holy, he who is true, he who has the key of David, he who opens and no one can shut, and who shuts and no one opens, says these things:” (Revelation‬ ‭3:7‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Different local churches see a different part of Jesus, according to their needs. One saw Him with flaming eyes of fire and another with the seven stars in His hand.

Psalm 68:1 – Just lift up Jesus and the enemies will all be scattered.

“Let God arise! Let his enemies be scattered! Let them who hate him also flee before him.” (Psalms‬ ‭68:1‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

When the beloved speaks of the bride, he talks to her directly, whereas the bride talks about the beloved and then he appears. When we talk about Jesus to others, He will be made manifest in our lives.

There are so many different aspects of Jesus which are glorious and these revelations are for us.

God was talking to Moses about the Tabernacle for forty days and nights on Mount Sinai. Only on the last day did God give the two tablets of the Ten Commandments to Moses. The Father loves to talk about Jesus.

Genesis 45:13 – Go and tell the Father about Jesus. Let us talk more and more about Jesus. Use His name in glory and for worship.

“You shall tell my father of all my glory in Egypt, and of all that you have seen. You shall hurry and bring my father down here.”” (Genesis‬ ‭45:13‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

In the Tabernacle, the East is where the altar of burnt offering (a picture of the cross) is. The false doctrines come against the cross of Jesus Christ because the devil wants us to believe that we can have everything without the cross.
The north is where the laver and the table of showbread are. We partake of the Lord’s Supper to counter death.
The south is where the menorah (lamp stand) is. Be involved in the local church and support it by tithing. This counters lack.
The west is where the altar of incense is. When you pray, you counter wars and strife.

Ephesians 5:26-27 – We are washed in our minds and bodies by receiving God’s word.

“that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without defect.” (Ephesians‬ ‭5:26-27‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Revelation 1:12 – The menorah (lamp stand) is represents the local church.

“I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. Having turned, I saw seven golden lamp stands.” (Revelation‬ ‭1:12‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Revelation 1:10, 12-13 – On a Sunday, John turned around and saw Jesus in the middle of the lamp stands.
Jesus is always in the midst. Jesus was in the midst of the religious teachers when He was a child. Jesus was crucified in the middle.
Pastor Prince believes that John was partaking of the Lord’s Supper right before Jesus appeared.
The table of showbread is on the north and the lamp stand is on the south side in the Tabernacle. When John turned around, he faced south as he saw Jesus in the midst of the lamp stands.

“I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and I heard behind me a loud voice, like a trumpet I turned to see the voice that spoke with me…Having turned, I saw seven golden lamp stands. And among the lamp stands was one like a son of man, clothed with a robe reaching down to his feet, and with a golden sash around his chest.” (Revelation‬ ‭1:10, 12-13‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Acts 20:7 – The early church made the Lord’s Supper a priority on Sundays (the first day of the week).

“On the first day of the week, when the disciples were gathered together to break bread, Paul talked with them, intending to depart on the next day, and continued his speech until midnight.” (Acts‬ ‭20:7‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

James 5:16 – The prayer of a righteous person is very effective. The enemy is afraid of prayer.

“Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.” (James‬ ‭5:16‬ ‭WEB‬‬)
