Ontario Courts Gradually Resuming In-Individual Proceedings

New COVID-19 actions in provincial courts will be certain safety of staff and guests

TORONTO – Ontario courts will get started resuming in-individual proceedings across the province on Monday, July 6, 2020. The gradual reopening of courtrooms will consist of stringent health and fitness and safety protocols to defend staff and everyone needed to attend a courthouse from COVID-19.

“We have worked with justice companions all over the COVID-19 outbreak to continue to keep folks harmless and keep the administration of justice. We are now getting a cautious and staged strategy to expanding the operations of provincial courts and implementing stringent public health and fitness actions so that in-individual matters can be heard safely,” claimed Attorney General Doug Downey.
